The closest airport to Dievole is Florence (FLR). Alternative options are Milan (MXP) or Rome (FCO).

Travel to Dievole

Shuttles from Florence to Dievole will be provided on Friday, June 6th and returning to Florence on Sunday, June 8th. We will request your travel details coordinate transportation. There are no Ubers/Lyft.

If flying into Rome or Milan, Florence is accessible via a short plane or train ride, or car.

Taking a Train

Trains are an easy and reliable way to travel through Italy. We recommend ItaliaRail, Italo or Trenitala. Note that there is no train that will take you directly to Dievole, and that a shorter train will be required from the airport to the main train stations (Milan Centrale & Roma Termini).

Renting a Car

While Italy isn’t known for safe driving, you can rent a Fiat at the airport to live out your Italian holiday dream! We recommend renting from Sicily by Car. Dievole is about an hour drive from Florence, 3 hours from Rome and 4 hours from Milan.

Renting a car in Italy requires an International Drivers Permit, which can be acquired at most AAA locations. We highly recommend buying full insurance coverage.
